Heres to New Adventures as an Event Planner

Hello Wedding Blogger World! 

  I, Mary Kathryn Kluesner am an inspiring Wedding and Other Events planner. There is nothing I love to do more than create perfect decor and organize the details for any special occasion down to the last flower petal. And there is nothing I despise more than writing blogs, so bare with me. 
                                                 

     For those who don’t have a clue who I am, I attend the University of Northern Iowa. At this exceptional institution I am a senior studying Leisure Youth and Human Services. I didn't stop there though; I have an emphasis in Tourism and a minor in Marketing. I know, seems like a random combination, like how did I even come up with this?? But trust me it works! These areas of study complement each other, ever so nicely and will hopefully lead me to endless career options after graduation.

   I am always looking for a new adventure. I have been blessed with the opportunity to study abroad twice. My first excursion was to Tanzania, Africa. I enter the core of the Serengeti with a curious mind, and left with a heart full of compassion for that part of the world. Secondly, I spent a semester in Athens, Greece. Talk about the most amazing experience of my life, not just because I got to eat gyros everyday of the week…I mean maybe that’s part of it, but Athens will always hold a special place in my heart. Being abroad gave me a new sense of independence and increase my ability to problem solve under a variety of situations. Traveling is like an addiction; you cannot stop once you start. But now I’m on to my next adventure, which leads me to here, Weddings & More!

  I came up with Weddings & More so I could have the opportunity to share my ideas and inspire other brides. This down to earth Iowa girl loves the rustic chic country look, but I still strives to sparkle with the fabulous glamor designs. As an inspiring event planner I hope to appeal to all types of brides and grooms no matter what their style is. I look forward to a challenge and love having the opportunity to try new things when it comes to décor designs. I am here to make all my brides dreams come true and to make the day flawless. It is my vow to make every event unforgettable and unique.

  I look forward to sharing the knowledge I gain about event planning with you all. I am so excited to begin this new adventure!
